Tubbataha - Cruise Itinerary (optional Calusa and Cagayancillo add on)

Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park (TRNP) is recognized as being the best diving destination in the Philippines .

This 100,000 hectare natural park is only accessible from April to June due to sea and weather conditions.

Divers come here for the incredible corals, huge schools of fish and the chance to see lots of sharks and manta rays. Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park is both a National Marine Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and was nominated recently as one of the 7 wonders of nature.

This is also one of the last places in Asia with guaranteed shark sightings on almost every dive. Expect to encounter  white tip, grey reef, nurse and hammerhead sharks.

A Tubbataha  dive safari  on the  M/Y Hans Christian Andersen is the perfect way to explore the wonders of this special
Place and during this period the ship turns into a full-fledged diving live aboard whose activities center around diving exclusively.

Cagayancillo and Calusa

The TRNP falls under the municipal jurisdiction of Cagayancillo, an overnight sail away from Tubbataha. Never offered on other Tubbataha live-aboards due to its distance from Puerto Princesa  and the TRNP, the HCA is proud to introduce access to these islands after completing exploratory dives during the 2010 season. The underwater topography is different from Tubbataha with more slopes and fringing reefs to explore and this is where macro enthusiasts have access to their favorite subjects.

Topside views are spectacular as well, with lovely, coconut tree topped white beaches as well as soaring cliffs on the backside of some of the islands. Explore a pinnacle  jutting out from the reef as well as an alley full of sea fans.
